“In his situation, one compromise might be to limit truths expressed to those understood, those easy to understand, and those difficult but not mind erasing.”
That probably makes the most sense, but although the passage shocked me in the wonderful way in which it was put together, and the over all strong idea it put across, it didn’t shock me with any new “truth”. It seemed to me just to be an opinion sent through god…
This caught my attention and there are so many good ideas in it, like knowing versus understanding and this is where gods headed now. Although there’s a lot in here I’d like to question something specific:
|The "god" hints again and again that there is a strict path to follow in order to reach "god" and that these are broken into levels, all creatures i'm guessing according to this follow the same path or self destruct or stay stagnant.|
“I understand it the same way, except in your usage of "strict". If you think its important, we should talk more about it.”
Well I used strict because I feel that if there are levels and a specific path that all life must take in order to become god it leaves little room for variety, don’t you think? How can, in an infinite world, with infinite possibilities, there be a discrete set of rules that are structured for all living life in order to reach their “final” end goal? Because obviously there are other “final” end goals that don’t consist of becoming god, but your saying there’s only one way in which to end up as god? There are no alternate roots beings can take? The world as we know it has been created by people thinking outside the box, not believing that the world was flat, not believing the there are any definite truths.
BTW there were so many things that you wrote that sparked my curiosity or made my head start turning, and I love how you wrote the god down as her lol
