FBI found guilty

I Just learned about concerning 4 men convicted of 1st degree murder in 1965 as a result of the FBI - with Hoover's knowledge and approval - deliberately withholding evidence which proved the men innocent. Two spent over 30 years in jail. The other two died in prison.
It gets murkier than that. The FBI allowed these innocent victims to be convicted - 3 of them sentenced to death - in order to cover up the identities of the real murderers - Cosa Nostra informants working for the FBI, who were allowed, by the FBI, to commit a series of similar crimes in order to maintain their cover.
We've needed Trusted Surveillance for a long time.
In July a court exonerated the men, condemned the FBI and ordered the US Government to cough up $102 million in damages - a new record. You can see the MSNBC video of the interview with Joseph Salvati and his lawyer .
While you're watching it, if you didn't already know about this story - which I think you'll agree is pretty newsworthy - ask yourself why this is the first time you're hearing about it.
Ask yourself that in the context of "Corrupt Insiders'.
