9-11 will be seen, historically, as a turning point in the evolution of Human Society. It is at least that important. I strongly believe that it will be seen as the clinching example of the incompetence of governments and the complete failure of conflict resolution.
As you can see from various chapters in the book (mainly ) I have already described some of my own reactions and the influences I think it has had to date. But even those attempts are just tinkering at the edges. I don't think we'll appreciate its true significance for perhaps another 50 years.
As to starting up a new thread here, I probably will want to do that myself in the not too distant future - particularly in the context of "Conspiracy Theories" but if others wish to start one up before me, don't let me stop you.
Having said that, unless the proposed thread was directly relevant to something I've already written regarding 9-11 (such as the War chapter) I can't see what would make a thread here any different to the other million already active! I am, of course, more than happy to discuss the issues arising from that chapter (in its own forum space, preferably) as readers have been noticeably reticent about that issue, despite its huge importance.
