This comment is provided for the benefit of those

a) who didn't already know that and

The kind of people, in fact, who don't tend to compulsively click on every damn link they see in an article. Preferring instead to read through it the first time and get an overall feel for the piece and then, selectively, go back for the links that look like they might be leading somewhere interesting.
